On July 28, 2020 Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment MA continues to Honor and give Recognition to Korean War veteran Borinqueneer CPL Leopoldo Badillo-Gonzalez
Here we presented him with the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal, due to his health and just being released from the hospital we weren't able to officially present the medal and he also received his Ambassador for Peace Medal
CPL Leopoldo Badillo-Gonzalez was inducted in Jan 1952 from Isabela, Puerto Rico was in the U.S. Army and trained at Fort Buchanan, PR
In Korea he served with Company B of the 65th Infantry Regiment from 1952-53
He participated in 2 Campaigns in a Korea

Here we presented his 3 daughters and family with the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Posthumously by Virtual Presentation
PFC Felix Rodriguez-Ruiz was inducted in Sep 1950 from Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico was in the U.S. Army and trained at Fort Buchanan, PR
In Korea he served with Company K of the 65th Infantry Regiment from 1951-52
He participated in 2 Campaigns in a Korea

On July 19th, 2020 Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment MA continues to Honor and give Recognition to World War II & Korean War veteran Borinqueneer Colonel Alfonso Palmer-Caballero (Ret)
Here we presented his daughter Sarah Palmer-Brown and family with the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Posthumously by Virtual Presentation
Colonel Alfonso Palmer-Caballero joined the ROTC Program from Puerto Rico University upon completion, had the rank of 2nd Lt and was placed in the U.S. Army and sent to Panama Canal for training and to protect the Panama Canal from invasion from the Japanese and Germans. He led a squad of trainees from the Jungle Warfare School and afterwards found himself heading the North Africa to partake in the Europe-North Africa-Middle Eastern Campaign in July of 1945 with Company I 65th Infantry Regiment has the rank if Captain. Soon enough he was headed to Europe to Rome- Arno
In Korea he served as Company Commander of the 65th w Company K from 1950-51 and during the CCF Spring Offensive was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor.
He participated in 4 Campaigns in a Korea

PFC Guillermo Rolon-Ortiz served in Korean from Summer of 1951 with the 65th Infantry Regiment Company E. He participated in 3 battle campaigns, his other decorations are as follows;

On July 5th, 2020 Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment MA got to Honor and give Recognition to Korean War veteran Borinqueneer Corporal Felix Berto Lopez
Here we presented his son’s Randy Lopez and Sergio Lopez Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Posthumously by Virtual Presentation with his family from around Puerto Rico
Corporal Felix B. Lopez served in Korean and was a Purple Heart Recipient on Feb 21, 1952 he was injured during combating the enemy. His other, we also is a recipient of the Ambassador for Peace Medal.

On the 13 of June 2020 at 3pm (1500hrs) we had the Honors to conduct via ZOOM a virtual BCGM PRESENTATION Honoring "PFC MIGUEL A. ORENGO SANTIAGO" (Posthumously). We had 39 connections in ZOOM with approximate 50 or more total participants.
Would like to take this moment to say thank you to all the members of the 65thIRMA that connected with us today to support this presentation. Thank you. On May 18, 2020 As we work through these unprecedented times we work to be innovative during this crisis in continuing to Honor and give Recognition to our Heroes of the 65th Infantry Regiment
Yesterday our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment Motorcycle Association by way of Virtual Presentation were able to present the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal to living 65th Infantry Regiment veteran Private First Class Luis Angel Melendez-Diaz who served with Medical Company 65th Infantry Regiment
Congratulations to his daughter Marisol Timmons of Columbia, SC and her Family members of PFC Luis Angel Melendez-Diaz for receiving his Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal
PFC Luis Angel Melendez is a Korean War Veteran and served from 1952-1953
He was inducted into the US Army Feb 1952
He served in 2 Campaigns in Korea
