Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment MA continues to Honor and give Recognition to Korean War veteran Borinqueneer SSG Leonardo Quinones-Diaz
Here we presented his daughter Emma Torres-Quinones and her family with the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Posthumously by Virtual Presentation
They were also presented with the Ambassador for Peace Medal Posthumously
SSG Leonardo Quinones-Diaz Inducted into the U.S. Army on April 18, 1944, He trained at Ft Buchanon and at the Panama Canal
SSG Leonardo Quinones-Diaz was a WWII, Korean, Vietnam War Veteran...
He served in WWII with Company E 65th Infantry Regiment and participated in 4 of the the North African/ Mediterranean Theatre Campaigns
In Korea he participated in 3 Battle Campaigns;

Korean Summer 1953
3 Overseas Bars
