Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment MA continues to Honor and give Recognition to Korean War veteran Borinqueneer SGT Ernesto Guzman
Here we presented his son Retired MSG Victor Guzman of Chester, VA along with his sisters and his family with the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal Posthumously by Virtual Presentation
SGT Guzman was Inducted into the U.S. Army on December 8, 1944, He trained at Ft Buchanon and at the Panal Canal
SGT Ernesto Guzman served in World War II and the Korean War.
He served with HQ & HQ Company 2BN 65th Infantry Regiment and participated in 2 battle campaigns in Korea;
Second Korean Winter 1952
Korean Summer-Fall 1952
