As this Memorial weekend continues we pay homepage and remembrance to our fallen Heroes
Our organization the 65th Infantry Regiment Motorcycle Associations will be Honored and paid tribute to SGT LAVERNE NELSON DOUGHERTY (DECEASED BORINQUENEER), we’re presenting his Family his wife and son Dennis with the Borinqueneer Congressional Medal and Certificate Posthumously.
SGT LAVERNE NELSON DOUGHERTY was laid to rest at FT INDIANTOWN GAP NATIONAL CEMETERY WITH FULL HONORS

We had the privilege of presenting the Borinqueneers Congressional Gold Medal to SGT LAVERNE N. DOUGHERTY, who served with the 65th Infantry Regiment 1st Battalion Company B 1952-53 Posthumously along with his AMBASSADOR for PEACE MEDAL on behalf of the Korean Consul and the people of the Republic of Korea
